Disposal of redundant fuel tanks and tank removal services

Fuel tank specialists David Plumb & Co has the expertise and experience to carry out the removal and disposal of all types of petrol, diesel, oil and other types of storage tanks from a whole range of locations, in a safe and efficient manner.

Small fuel tanks can usually be loaded onto our transport for carting away whole. Large fuel tanks may need to be cut up on-site and solid filled fuel tanks may need to be cold cut open to enable the infill material to be dug out.

Where larger tanks need to be dug out with the minimum disturbance to their surrounds, David Plumb & Co can cold cut these tanks from the excavation, using hydraulic shears.

Oil company policy dictates that redundant petrol tanks are not sold for re-use. The system of documentation used by David Plumb & Co identifies the tank and its eventual destruction by smelting.
