International Forecourt and Fuel
Equipment Show 2007
The David Plumb & Co stand (F10) at the International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment Show (IFFE) at the NEC (March 6-8, 2007) featured displays and information on its specialist services of fuel storage tank cleaning, and forecourt demolition, decommissioning and decontamination.
This year there was also a video of the David Plumb team in action and visitors were able to pick up a copy of the company’s new brochure and its latest newsletter.
Tank cleaning
David Plumb‘s expert operatives can safely de-gas tanks to make them safe to work on, open them to remove sludge and thoroughly clean the tanks from the inside.
“A cleaned tank will prevent clogging and pump breakdowns,” says David Plumb director Nigel Plumb. “It is a task that only needs performing about once every 10-15 years and, in the long run, can save a lot more than it costs.”
Demolition and decommissioning
The company is fully equipped for, and experienced in, all aspects of decommissioning fuel sites, including full building demolition, de-gassing of tanks, environmental surveying for soil contamination, excavation of tanks and pipework, decontamination of the ground and preparing the site for redevelopment.
The company ensures that any contamination that leaves the site only goes to a licensed disposal site.
All work is carried out to the highest safety and environmental standards.
